Titanic is a 1997 American epic
romance-disaster film that directed,
written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of
the sinking Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio (who plays Jack Dawson) and
Kate Winslet (who plays Rose DeWitt
Bukater) as members of different social classes who fall in love abroad the
ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.
After winning a
trip on the RMS Titanic during a dockside card game, Jack Dawson noticed the
society girl named Rose DeWitt Bukater who is on her way to Philadelphia to
marry her rich snob fiancé Caledon Hockley. Rose was suppose to marry her
mother's pick of a fine gentlemen Cal Hockley, who was only attracted to Rose
by her beauty and family fortune. Rose however felt she was in a crowded room
screaming for help with no one to hear. Jack did hear her, with someone to
finally listen, Rose couldn't deny her feelings for Jack anymore. Their love
came to a new level, when Rose asked Jack to draw her like one of his
"french girls" wearing only the rarest diamond, the Heart of the
Ocean. A romantic love affair between Jack and Rose couldn't be denied and Cal
became jealous of Jack and searching for a way to compromise Rose's love for
Jack. Unfortunately Cal finds out and has Jack locked away. Soon afterwards,
the ship hits an iceberg and Rose must find Jack while both must run from Cal
even as the ship sinks deeper into the freezing water. As the ship lowers
itself into the depths of the ocean, Jack and Rose must fight death of the
freezing water and await a rescue ship.
For me, Titanic is the movie which really made me respect James
Cameron as a film maker. In the movie, he offers excellent and believeable
characters, stunning visuals and a compelling story. The ending of the story
when every night old Rose in her dream, she saw Jack, it really touches my deep
heart.
To sum up, this is sweet, sad, happy, and incredible at the same
time story. Such as an extraordinary film that I ever saw. I think, you will be glad and feel the power
of their love when you able to watch it.
I'm crying at the end of Titanic :( Titanic was the sad film i ever watching.
BalasHapusYep, the film speaks so much about the sacrifice of Jack's love for Rose.. Idk what to say anymore but to be honesty it against with Islamic thought :))
